Shiva and the Hazards announce new single ANGKOR WAT
Shiva and the Hazards are excited to announce the release of their new single, ANGKOR WAT, which will be followed by their tour support for legendary shoe-gaze band, RIDE, on their first visit to Australia and New Zealand in 27 years, as well as 90s Brit Pop hit-makers, CAST.
Produced by Matt Redlich (Holy Holy, Husky) and mastered by Brian Lucey (Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys), ANGKOR WAT is the Melbourne / London band’s first follow up since their debut EP, Future Cult Classics, released only last year.
Combining the vintage guitar sounds of Jefferson Airplane and Jimi Hendrix Experience with acid laced grooves of early Tame Impala, ANGKOR WAT sees Shiva and the Hazards further develop their trans-Atlantic inspired sound with a dose of distinctly Australian psychedelia.
ANGKOR WAT is our Friday 9 August through the usual online platforms.
